Corsair launches new Vengeance CUDIMM DDR5 memories with up to 96GB at 9,200MT/s

Corsair has announced the availability of its new CUDIMM DDR5 memory kits under the Vengeance brand. The products will be sold in capacities of up to 96GB (2x48GB), promising speeds of up to 9,200MT/s on Intel Z890 cards, using the XMP 3.0 profile.

According to the manufacturer, the new Vengeance CUDIMM DDR5 arrive in stores today, December 3rd. The modules feature a polished aluminum heatsink, which has a reflective surface decorated with patterns. The top of the heatsink has a strip of ARGB lights. Corsair promised non-RGB versions of its new memories soon, in the first week of the month.

The difference in the appearance of the heatsink is important to differentiate the CUDIMM models from other Corsair DDR5 memories, which do not have a mirrored surface on the heatsink.

The first kits to appear are the 96GB at 9,200MT/s and the 48GB, which reaches 8,400MT/s. The models are optimized for Intel and only the smaller kit has a page on the official Corsair website for now. Therefore, only their value was revealed by the company: US$350. It is the equivalent of more or less R$2,130 at the current price.

Does Corsair’s CUDIMM get faster without RGB?

The announcement of Corsair’s new Vengeance memories focuses on higher capacity CUDIMM DDR5 models, accompanied by ARGB light adornments. However, memories without colored lights already appear on the manufacturer’s official page as well.

The version without RGB of the new Vengeance is listed in a 48GB kit (2x24GB) but, unlike the models with lights, this variant reaches the same 9,200MT/s promised in the 96GB kits. Offering more performance, its value is a little higher, going up to US$378 (R$2,300).

Since Corsair promised modules of up to 10,000MT/s in October this year, perhaps the non-RGB version of the 96GB kits will reach that number.
