A few days after HP’s new Strix Halo Compact PC, Corsair shows its alternative with Workstation AI 300. The company’s new mini computer has less variety of configurations than from the competitor, but offers the top of Ryzen Ai Max+ 395 line accompanied by 128GB of RAM for $ 2,000.
Being a compact workstation, the new Corsair PC measures 96.5 x 188.4 x 247.5mm, which is somewhat larger than the average mini PCs, but certainly more portable than most desktop computers. Inside the case comes a 350W built -in source that can boost not only Ryzen Ai Max+ 395, but also options with Ryzen Ai Max 385.
In all, there are three settings available for Workstation Ai 300, check it out:
- Ryzen Ai Max 385 + 64GB of memory LPDDR5x + 1TB SSD: $ 1,600 ($ 8,961)
- Ryzen Ai Max + 395 + 128GB of memory LPDDR5x + 1TB SSD: $ 2,000 ($ 11.201)
- Ryzen Ai Max + 395 + 128GB of memory LPDDR5x + 4TB SSD: $ 2,300 ($ 12,881)
In general terms, we can see that Corsair is charging less on its official website than B&H for HP models.
Corsair promises local llm on a 4.4L chassis
It is even evident by the name that Corsair promotes work with IA as one of the main points of sale of its compact workstation. Regardless of choosing the processor, we have an APU with up to 50 tops of performance, capable of running local LLMs on a computer under 5L in volume.

The Strix Halo series of AMD processor does not only stand out for its capacity with AI, but mainly for its integrated GPU. The Ryzen Ai Max 385 comes with a Radeon 8050s, while Ryzen Ai Max+ 395 integrates a Radeon 8060S, famous for its performance.
The full “mini” PC is pre-sold on the Corsair website, with shipments starting between September 8 and 15.
