Core Ultra 200K Plus and 200HX Plus could arrive in March or April as Intel’s bet against AMD

The refresh for the Arrow Lake line of Intel processors was discredited in rumors last year, but now it seems very close to happening. Reliable Chinese insider Golden Pig Upgrade Pack claims that we will see the new Core Ultra 200K Plus and 200HX Plus arriving as soon as March or April this year.

After rumors reached a consensus that Arrow Lake Refresh processors would be a reality, forecasts pointed to CES 2026 as a possible stage for the official unveiling of the products.

Intel, however, chose to dedicate itself entirely to introducing its new Panther Lake CPUs at the event. The decision makes sense, since the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 is a true new generation of processors, which debuts the company’s long-awaited 18A manufacturing process.

The new Core Ultra 200K Plus and 200HX Plus, in turn, should bring specific increments that are not very significant, something that is expected for a simple refresh of products.

Intel and AMD intensify dispute in 2026

The processor segment will have very interesting news from both Intel and AMD in 2026. While the blue side of the force prepares for the debut of notebooks with Panther Lake on January 27th, AMD could take the lead with the first Gorgon Point products arriving in China on the 22nd.

Gorgon Point processors, however, are just a refresh of Strix Point, and shouldn’t bring the same leap we’ll see with Panther Lake.

Now we have rumors of the Arrow Lake refresh for March or April, but it is at the end of the year that we will see a dispute between new generations. Intel is preparing the Nova Lake series for desktops and we also expect the reveal of a new generation Ryzen based on Zen 6.
