Nvidia has not yet officially confirmed that it prepares a new version of its RTX 5090D to sell a more advanced model than the RTX 5080 in China. However, we now have a leakage of possible prices for the so -called RTX 5090D V2 in the country.
The information comes from Colorful, which listed its 5090d V2 before the time at the Jd store. The plate appears for values from 20,799 yuans, the equivalent of about $ 2,895, or $ 15,726. There is also a model for 20,999 yuans appearing in the listing, about $ 150 more expensive.
According to Videocardz, the listing has already been removed from the site, but curiously still appear RTX 5090D V2 from Colorful in JD search results. However, these are 32GB models, so they should be listing for the original RTX 5090D where V2 was included in the name.
RTX 5090D V2 Does it cost the same price as the original 5090d?
As mentioned above, the original RTX 5090D had 32GB GDDR7, while its new version comes with 8GB less, to go through US regulations and can be sold legally in China.
However, according to Insider Megasizegpu, its suggested price will be the same as the original version, even coming with only 24GB.
This already seems to be reflected in the sales value of the plate, which is larger than the MSRP. The launch price for RTX 5090D, according to Nvidia, is 16,499 yuans. Currently the plate is found by 21,899 yuans in JD, very close to 20,799 or until 20,999 that the new version of the GPU appears.
