News for Meta’s social networks
In addition to praising the use of WhatsApp by Brazilians, Zuckerberg also took the opportunity to present significant news for WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook. One of the main new features is the introduction of Meta’s artificial intelligence assistant for these services, which will be launched in Brazil in July.
Meta’s AI assistant, based on Llama 3 technology, promises to interact with users, generate images, create texts and answer questions. This technology, which had already been presented in the United States in April, will arrive in Brazil in Portuguese, competing directly with other artificial intelligence on the market, such as ChatGPT, from OpenAI, and CoPilot, from Microsoft.
On WhatsApp, the AI assistant will help companies quickly answer the most common questions received on the app, facilitating customer service. Meta aims to build the best AI service in the world, offering innovative solutions to improve interaction on its platforms, according to Mark Zuckerberg.
