Black Myth: Wukong gets a themed RTX 4070 Super from Zotac

Taking advantage of the release of Black Myth: Wukong, Zotac decided to launch a new version of its RTX 4070 Super with visuals inspired by the game. The RTX 4070 Super Wukong features the same design as the Trinity models, but with the Monkey King’s face on the back, and the game’s name in Chinese hidden by fans on the front.

Since the difference is only in the paint job, the rest of the configurations remain the same. We have a customized RTX 4070 Super with an AD104-350 GPU, accompanied by 12GB of GDDR6X memory. There are 7,168 CUDA Cores and the clock is slightly increased from Nvidia’s standard, going from 2,475MHz to 2,505MHz (in boost). The product has a 16-pin connector, operating at 220W.

While “Limited Edition” GPUs usually make more significant changes to the graphics card’s appearance, Zotac opted to simply paint the case differently. Since the game is called Black Myth, the choice of black is what you’d expect. Whether or not this is an advantage is up to you.

What will likely be considered a downside for most gamers, however, is that the Black Myth: Wukong-themed RTX 4070 Super is only scheduled to launch in China. And Zotac has yet to announce an official price for the product.

The board features a Black Myth look, but not the game

Even if Zotac decides to bring its Wukong-themed GPU to the US, it’s important to note that this is not a bundle with Black Myth. In other words, interested parties will have to purchase the game separately to have the full experience of playing with the Monkey King running on his stylized GPU.

The good news, however, is that the RTX 4070 Super handles the new Chinese action RPG very well, according to Nvidia’s own tests. The model runs Black Myth at over 70fps with full ray tracing at almost any resolution, not just 4K.
