Ayaneo revealed this week the Pocket Ace, its latest portable console. Known for its large amount of products in the segment, Ayaneo this time bets on a retro -look Android handheld, but bringing modern features such as hall effect and haptic feedback.
Starting with the most important, Ayaneo Pocket Ace is equipped with a Snapdragon G3X Gen 2 which, according to the company, offers enough performance to deal “effortlessly” with retro games and popular mobile titles. The company does not speak directly of emulation, but seems to be a resource where Pocket ACE can stand out.
The device IPS screen is 4.5 ”, in a proportion 3: 2 with 1620 x 1080p resolution. In addition, it comes equipped with a 6,000mah battery, which should be enough for a lot of autonomy, but Ayaneo does not offer estimates. The laptop also has a quick recharge of 40W.
Pocket Ace has hall effect and haptic feedback
Despite the retro look, Pocket Ace brings at least two features considered modern. Analog levers and trigger buttons have Hall effect, which has been popular in current advanced controls. In addition to preventing joystick wear and preventing drift, technology also helps in accuracy of the player’s input detection.
Another highlight is haptic feedback. Ayaneo says the Pocket Ace is the world’s first handheld with a 0916B Ultra-Wideband engine, to offer the premium level feature.
Available in three colors, but no release date
As you can see from the images, Ayaneo Pocket Ace will arrive in three color options: black, white and one grayish visibly planned to remind the old 8bits of the old.
