ASUS Z890 motherboards allow you to update BIOS with Zip files

ASUS motherboards with Z890 chipset for Intel processors have a simple feature that will make your BIOS updates a little easier. The manufacturer revealed that the EZ Flash 4 interface is compatible with “.zip” files, allowing you to update your motherboard’s BIOS without having to unzip the files.

In other words, using one of these mobo models, simply download the update from the ASUS website and place the compressed file on a pen drive to continue with the installation. Certainly this type of new feature is not a flashy feature like something that improves the performance or stability of your system, but it is interesting to make people’s lives easier. Windows is capable of updating the BIOS automatically in many situations, but certain updates require a manual update. Still talking about EZ Flash 4, ASUS also revealed that the interface now uses native FullHD resolution (1920 x 1080p).
