ASUS presented its new 800 Neo line of motherboards at CES 2026, as its teasers already indicated would happen. There are several models with AM5 socket for AMD’s latest processors, which also come with a new AIO cooler for liquid cooling.
The new Neo series boards make their debut with three options, starting with the ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming WiFi7 Neo. That’s a lot of name to go with a lot of features. We have a PCIe 5.0 x16 port for the GPU and two other M.2 connections with the same interface, for SSDs. They are accompanied by three more M.2 PCIe 4.0 ports.
The second model that appears at the premiere is ProArt B850-Creator WiFi Neo, an ASUS line aimed more at home work and content creation. That’s why this model features a different PCIe 5.0 configuration, with two x8 ports, aimed at video cards working together.
Finally, for the debut of the new Neo line, we have the ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial Neo, apparently the flagship option in the series. The card not only features the most advanced technologies expected in today’s components, but also a new Q-Connector aimed at AIO coolers. The idea is to connect compatible coolers directly to this port, eliminating the use of cables for a cleaner aesthetic.
New ASUS cards arrive accompanied by the ROG Strix LC IV
To promote the new Q-Connector, ASUS also presented the ROG Strix LC IV, its new AIO cooler for liquid cooling.
In addition to being compatible with the new connection, the cooler features a 5.08” LCD screen and three-fan radiator, offering variants with both long and shorter tubes.

We do not yet have prices for the products already revealed. In addition to the cards mentioned here, ASUS is also preparing a ROG Strix X870E-A Gaming WiFi7 Neo, a B850-F Gaming WiFi7 Neo and a TUF variant for the new series, which will arrive in the near future.
