ASUS took advantage of its presence at gamescom 2024 to present its new gaming routers to the public, with the presence of the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 model with Wi-Fi 7 being the main highlight among the manufacturer’s new devices.
The arrival of the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 serves to succeed the current generation of routers with support for Wi-Fi 6E, bringing Wi-Fi 7 in triple band and with speeds of up to 19 Gbps. The wired connection brings an even greater bandwidth, reaching up to 31 Gbps.

According to ASUS, the gaming router model offers a variety of WAN options, such as 2.5G WAN detection and 10G LAN ports. In addition, the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 also supports 4G LTE and 5G.
The tri-band router also features 320MHz channels in the 6GHz band with Multi-Link Operation. Additionally, there is support for 4096-QAM to increase network capacity and bandwidth. 4096-QAM offers a 20% data rate increase compared to 1024-QAM – making WiFi faster and more stable.
ASUS also says that the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 gaming router allows you to manage up to five SSIDs via Guest Network Pro – allowing you to configure IoT devices, VPNs, and parental controls. There’s also support for Triple-Level Game Acceleration and AiProtection Pro.
In addition to the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000 gaming router, ASUS also presented two other models at the event: the RT-BE86U and the ROG USB-BE92.
The RT-BE86U also supports Wi-Fi 7 via dual-band 6Gbps with Multi-Link Operation and 4096-QAM. It also supports four 2.5G and one 10G ports, but what makes the model stand out most is the 4-core processor that clocks up to 2.6GHz – bringing efficiency and also being able to handle the use of multiple applications.
The ASUS ROG USB-BE92 is a Wi-Fi 7-enabled USB adapter that supports tri-band connectivity and delivers speeds of up to 6,500 Mbps. It has 3.6x faster performance compared to Wi-Fi 6 adapters and also features enhanced security with WPA3 support.
