The RTX 5090 commemorating the 30th anniversary of ASUS GPUs will be a product limited not only by its number of units, but also by its price. This is what the first listings of the RTX 5090 ROG Matrix in Europe reveal, with the card costing almost the price of two RTX 5090 Founders Editions.
The new ROG Matrix appeared at Proshop, in Germany, costing €4,100 (R$25,331). The reference version of the RTX 5090 costs €2,099 (R$12,974) on the old continent, so you can buy almost two of it with the price of the ASUS anniversary card.
The store also reveals that the card should start shipping on November 27th, so content with the new GPU should start to appear in the coming weeks. But we can’t wait too long since ASUS says it will only offer 1,000 units of its RTX 5090 ROG Matrix Platinum.
The distinctive design is the first thing that catches the eye about ASUS’ anniversary GPU, but it’s not its only attraction. In fact, the main highlight of the RTX 5090 ROG Matrix is ​​that the card is capable of reaching 800W in its TGP, to deliver 2,730MHz of boost clock in its standard configuration.
The model comes with a 12V-2×6 connection and a BTF style connection, on the bottom of the GPU. Unlike Astral cards with the same configuration, however, both connections can be used at the same time, to offer a total of 800W to the ROG Matrix.
In these conditions for maximum performance, ASUS promises around 10% greater performance with its new RTX 5090, probably compared to the standard model of the graphics card.

Cooling is provided by four fans, just like in Astral models, but which come with a vapor chamber, thick heatsink, more copper on the PCB and liquid metal as an interface on the GPU.
