Asus revealed, during an ad this week, that its new line of Rog XG graphic expanders, with the powerful GPU RTX 5090, will be released soon.
The launch is scheduled to happen on the day February 25, 2025during a special brand event. The arrival of the new line will be a big news in the EGPUS market, bringing important innovations to demanding hardware and gamers enthusiasts.
Characteristics of the new Rog XG
The new device has an elegant construction of tempered glass and translucent plastic, which displays a sophisticated aesthetics.
Equipped with the RTX 5090, Nvidia’s mobile video card currently brings the best graphic performance on the market. In addition, the Rog XG Expansion also offers state -of -the -art connections.

- Compact and light design: The new design was optimized to be 18.2% lower and lighter, with weight below 1 kgfacilitating transportation and installation.
- Ultraeficient energy: Equipped with an active bridge rectifier that offers 330W of power more efficientlythe device ensures high performance without overloading the energy.
- Aurora Sync ROG Logo: The Rog Logo illuminated with Aura Sync technology provides a unique visual customization with integrated lighting that can be synchronized with other compatible devices.
- Intelligent expansibility and design: The device has several connectivity ports, including USB-A, Thunderbolt 5, SD, HDMI 2.1 card reader and Displayport 2.1. In addition, the support was redesigned, offering a compact design and saving space.

Price and availability
The new Rog XG with RTX 5090 will be sold in the international market for approximately 2,199.99 dollars (About R $ 16 thousand reais in the current quotation, without taxes).
However, the final value in the Chinese market will still be released at the launch event. Asus has also announced that it will release a more affordable version, equipped with the RTX 5070 Ti, which will be available for $ 1,199.99 (about $ 8,700).
