The long-awaited portable console ROG Xbox Ally and its more robust version, the ROG Xbox Ally Xare officially arriving in Brazil. In a live broadcast held tonight, ASUS confirmed the start of sales in the country.
Abroad, the global launch took place on October 16th. Developed by Microsoft in partnership with ASUS, this laptop combines the power of a gaming PC with the Xbox ecosystem.
Portable console has good sales start
The global market response to the device has been “extremely positive”, exceeding ASUS’ expectations since launch. Nick Wu, ASUS CFO, highlighted that demand, especially for variants high-end (premium), exceeded expectations.
In fact, the model ROG Xbox Ally X It has already sold out in pre-sales in stores in the United States and the United Kingdom. ASUS sees ROG Ally as a central pillar within its gaming portfolio, aiming to drive tangible revenue and profit growth for the company.
ROG Xbox Ally in Brazil: what is the price?
The official prices for the Brazilian market are as follows:
- ROG Xbox Ally: from R$ 5.998.
- ROG Xbox Ally X: from R$ 9.998.
For comparison purposes, the prices announced by Microsoft and ASUS in the United States are more modest:
- The entry model (ROG Xbox Ally) costs US$ 599 in the USA – the equivalent of R$3,200, without taxes.
- The most complete and powerful version (ROG Xbox Ally X) costs US$ 999 in the USA – the equivalent of R$5,300, without taxes.
Pre-sale starts this Friday, November 21st, at the official ASUS store, Mercado Livre and Amazon. Delivery of the console is scheduled for after Black Friday, therefore in the first week of December.
