ASUS has released new details for its ROG NUC mini PC for the year 2024, with sales starting on May 24, 2024 (tomorrow). Among the new information, they released the specifications that the user can choose from and the prices.
In terms of processors, you can select Intel Core Ultra 100 (Meteor Lake) CPUs between the “Intel Core Ultra 7” and “Intel Core Ultra 9” models. In terms of GPUs, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 and GeForce RTX 4070 will be available.

The most affordable model of ASUS ROG NUC is the one that will feature the Intel Core Ultra 155H CPU, GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The model will be sold for 11,999 Chinese yuan (approximately $1,730).
The “high-end” will be accompanied by a Core Ultra 9 185H processor, GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The model will be sold for 14,999 Chinese yuan (approximately $2,160).
It is important to mention that the new ASUS ROG NUC will use a custom motherboard specifically for these units, maintaining the compact volume of 2.5 liters. The design also allows for two slots for DDR5 memory and three M.2 2280 PCIe 4×4 slots – with support for 8K output or multi-display configuration for up to four 4K screens.
ASUS’ proposal with its new ROG NUC is to bring versatility to the user. The device can be positioned both vertically and horizontally. Furthermore, the cooling system also allows the CPU to operate at up to 65W and the GPU to reach between 130 and 140W.
Consumers can also have easy access to internal components by simply removing the top cover with a Phillips screwdriver. The model will be sold with support for RGB lighting via ROG Aura Sync.
In terms of connectivity, the ASUS ROG NUC will support a 2.5G wired network card, Wi-Fi 6E (Gig+) 2×2 and Bluetooth 5.3. The mini PC will also feature a Realtek ALC256 sound card – enhancing audio output.
Its interface also has an SD Express ver8.0 card reader with UHS-I support, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports and a 3.5mm headset output. Additionally, you will also see a Thunderbolt 4 port, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, two USB-A 2.0 ports, an HDMI output, two DisplayPort 1.4 and a 2.5 RJ45 network input.
