ASUS announces Radeon RX 7600 Dual EVO OC, its third variant of the same Radeon

ASUS launched the Radeon RX 7600 Dual EVO OC this month, its newest variant of a GPU model that has already appeared twice before. Apparently, the AMD RDNA 3 family entry card is a success for ASUS, which now offers another option with the same SKU.

The Radeon RX 7600 Dual EVO OC, as the name suggests, features two fans to dissipate heat from the GPU, resulting in a somewhat compact card – especially when compared to current models. ASUS uses the name “EVO” for a different fan design, which makes the line appear in cases of “refresh” like this.

It is interesting to note, however, that the new Radeon RX 7600 option does not have the higher clock rate that ASUS offers on these GPUs. Despite having “OC” in the name, the new version maintains the same clock as the previously launched “non-OC” model. The folks at VideoCardz brought together the three versions and their clocks to make comparison easier:

• Radeon RX 7600 Dual EVO OC:
  – Standard clock: up to 2280MHz | boost up to 2695MHz
  – OC mode: up to 2300MHz | boost up to 2715MHz
• Radeon RX 7600 Dual V2:
  – Standard clock: up to 2280MHz | boost up to 2695MHz
  – OC mode: up to 2300MHz | boost up to 2715MHz
• Radeon RX 7600 Dual OC:
  – Standard clock: up to 2320MHz | boost up to 2725MHz
  – OC mode: up to 2340MHz | boost up to 2745MHz

Apart from the clock settings, the new ASUS card maintains the standard GPU specifications. This means we have a Navi 33 chip with 2048 cores. There are 128 TMUs, accompanied by 64 ROPs. The memory is 8GB GDDR6, running at 18Gbps.
