Taiwanese ASUS announced that the line of mini-PCs NUC 14 got a new version equipped with chips Intel Alder Lake-N (Refresh). These mini-PCs, commercially called NUC 14 Essential, They have a case measuring 135x115x36 mm and weighing 480 grams.

On the ASUS NUC 14 Essential, 4 chip options are available: Intel N97, N150. N250 e Core 3 N355, options ranging from 4 cores to 8 cores. The main option is the Core 3 N355, with 8 cores, 8 threads, 6 MB cache, clock of 3.9 GHz and TDP of 15W.
The mini-PC also supports the installation of a DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM RAM module. For storage, it is possible to install an M.2 2280 SSD.
Network capabilities are characterized by Gigabut Ethernet support as well as Wi-Fi 6E/Bluetooth 5.3 support. Sound management is provided thanks to the presence of the Realtek ALC3251 chip. ASUS also mentions support for up to 3 4K monitors. These screens can be connected via DisplayPort or HDMI.
