Since NVIDIA did not present new GPUs at CES 2026, its main novelty in the segment was releasing the PCB format of the RTX 5090 Founders Edition for its AIB partners to create their own card models. And one of the highlights goes to the new RTX 5090 ProArt from ASUS.
The company’s ProArt line is mainly aimed at creation and work builds, with one of its main focuses being the possibility of assembling PCs with multiple GPUs. That’s why the new RTX 5090 ProArt based on the Founders Edition PCB arrives compatible with the SFF format, considered “compact” nowadays.
The card has a 2.5-slot profile and uses just two fans, certainly smaller than many other 5090 models – the model at the top of the Blackwell line for home PCs.
Another important highlight of ASUS’ latest ProArt graphics card is that it offers a USB-C output for video. Thinking about varied use and, possibly, with multiple monitors, this alternative rarely found in domestic GPU models is interesting.
ASUS also highlights the cooling solutions implemented in its new RTX 5090 based on the Founders Edition. To begin with, the card features liquid metal as a thermal interface between the GPU and the heatsink.
Additionally, we have a vapor chamber that promises “optimized heat conduction for superior cooling.” The fans are 115mm and the backplate is ventilated in two regions, below each one.
ASUS, however, does not say how much cooler the card operates than similar models without the same cooling features.

Internally, the RTX 5090 remains the same, with 21,760 cores, 680 TMUs and 32GB of GDDR7 memory running at 28Gbps. ASUS has not yet announced when exactly the product will arrive and what its suggested price (MSRP) will be.
