ASROCK presented this week five new models of AMD chipset motherboard. They are all variants of X870, one of which brings the first option of the company focused on Advanced Ryzen Processor Overclock, the X870e Taichi OCF.
The new asrock cards are shown in a promotional video. The models that appear are:
- X870E Taichi OCF
- Phantom Gaming X870 Nova WIFI
- X870 Taichi Creator
- X870 LiveMixer WIFI
- X870 Pro-A WIFI
Obviously, the Taichi OCF model “leads” the new products. The plate brings OC formula to an AMD chipset for the first time in this generation, with a phase design of 22+2+1, and 110a. It is an advanced overclocking mobo, and it also offers premium features such as six M.2 slots for SSDs, two of them compatible with 5.0 x4 PCIE.
Asrock aims at a variety of users
Each plate model is aimed at a different use, as indicated by the names. The Phantom Gaming X870 Nova Wifi, for example, obviously tries to attract players. The plate offers 18+2+1 phase design with 80A for power. It also has two M.2 slots for PCIE 5.0 SSDs and has a USB-C connection with Power Delivery (PD) up to 36W.
The X870 Taichi Creator is Asrock’s AMD board for content creators. Its main difference is the presence of two PCIE 5.0 x16 slots for simultaneous use of two high performance GPUS. It also has two Ethernet ports, one 10GBE and one from 5GBE.
New models include streamers plate?
The X870 Livemixer WiFi is Asrock’s attempt to draw the attention of those who like to make Lives. Therefore, the plate comes with a total of 25 USB ports and two PCIE X4 slots for peripherals such as capture boards.

Finally, we have the X870 Pro-A Wifi, which seeks to be the most affordable option among new models, but it is still an X870 plate with advanced features. This includes PCIE 5.0 slot for SSDs, Wi-Fi 7 and two USB-C 4.0.
Asrock unfortunately has not yet revealed the prices of each model.
