AsRock Expands Its Phantom Gaming Line of Monitors

AsRock has renewed its focus on monitors by expanding its Phantom Gaming line with several new models. With different sizes and curved screen options, the brand’s display series now reaches a variety of consumers looking for gaming monitors.

The largest models among the new products are the PG34QRT3A and the PG34QRT2B. They are two 34” curved screens with WQHD resolution (21:9 aspect ratio) and a 180Hz refresh rate. They have a 1ms response time and an integrated Wi-Fi antenna, which AsRock says helps provide a boost in wireless signal. The difference between the models is that the PG34QRT3A has a small OLED panel at the base, which allows you to monitor PC information or display images.

Moving into the 27” category, we have the PG27FRS1A, with a high refresh rate. This curved screen display offers a FullHD VA panel, but reaches a frequency of 280Hz.

For those willing to sacrifice frequency for resolution, AsRock also offers the PG27QRT2A and PG27QRT1B in 27”. Both models have 180Hz, but offer QHD resolution. The Phantom Gaming PG27QRT2A also has a built-in Wi-Fi antenna, like the 34” models.

AsRock’s “entry-level” option uses a flat screen

Finally, AsRock highlights its entry-level model in the line, the PG25FFT, a 25” flat screen. It is a FullHD IPS monitor (1920 x 1080p) with a 180Hz refresh rate. Like all other Phantom Gaming displays, the response time is maintained at 1ms.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not released the official prices for the new monitors in its Phantom Gaming line, nor the date we can expect to see them here. Terabyteshop appears listed as one of the official resellers, and already works with AsRock monitors, so the new options should appear in the store eventually.
