ASRock is the latest motherboard maker to celebrate an overclocking record for CUDIMM DDR5 on one of its mobos. Using an Intel Z890 Taichi OCF with V-Color modules, AKM managed to reach 12.527MHz frequency in the memories, as verified by HWBot.
ASRock’s Z890 Taichi seems popular among overclockers seeking record frequency in CUDIMM DDR5. The card was already in first place, along with Patriot Viper Xtreme 5 modules, reaching DDR5-12501. Third place also belongs to the same mobo, with the same V-Color modules: Manta Xfinity RGB.
Thus, it is only in fourth place that another manufacturer appears, with the MEG Z890 Unify-X, from MSI. The record was obtained with Kingston Fury Renegade memories.

The 10 highest overclocking scores on CUDIMM DDR5 memories obtained so far were on Intel Z890 chipsets, as in the case of the ASRock Taichi OCF. Obviously, the processor that appears most often is the current top of the line compatible with these cards, the Core Ultra 9 285K.

Therefore, Intel would not fail to comment on the achievement of 12,527MHz in CUDIMM DDR5. “These results demonstrate how the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K and ASRock Z890 Taichi OCF deliver exceptional overclocking capabilities and an incredible user experience,” said a company representative. He adds:
