The company bet mainly on AI servers, such as NVIDIA’s GB200 and GB300 systems, Personalized processors of major cloud providers and AMPERE Computing solutions.
Today, most data centers operate with AMD EPYC or Intel Xeon, both based on X86 architecture due to the wide availability of compatible software. However, The scenario is changing with server programs being developed first to CPUS ARM and then adapted to X86.
Google and Microsoft have already started projecting ARM processors for data centers, although they are behind Amazon, which already uses ARM chips. In addition, by 2022, analyzes anticipated that ARM systems should dominate 30% of the PC market by 2026.

Another player is AMPERE Computing, which develops ARM processors for data centers. The company started with the support of Oracle and today belongs to Softbank, which also controls Arm Holdings. Finally, NVIDIA itself, in its grace CPUS with 144 nuclei, uses ARM Neoverse V2 that boosts GB200 and GB300 servers.
However, ARM does not only depend on AWS, AMPERE and NVIDIA. The company also provides computer subsystems (CSS) with neoverse nuclei, allowing manufacturers to develop their own chips for servers.
And there is also rumors that ARM is creating processors for providers as a goalwhich can significantly expand its market share in the future.
