An electric tank: Tesla Cybertruck has been transformed into an even more robust version

The famous Cyberpunkvehicle developed by the company Teslaby Elon Musk, has gained a version intended for military purposes. The customization is the result of a partnership between Unplugged Performance, specialized in tuning Tesla vehicles, and Archimedes Defense.

Dubbed STING, the Cybertruck upgrade package includes three packages, including steel and ceramic armor against machine gun projectiles up to 14.5 mm and a protective plate against mines, in the STING APC version. The STING is designed to serve both civilian and military purposes, with the ability to operate in the most adverse conditions, providing safety and reliability.

In the most basic package of upgrades, the STING Baja, the highlight is 125 kW generator positioned in the trunk, increasing the car’s battery autonomy, enabling more intensive use in the desert or areas hit by disasters. In the STING Protector package, companies highlight armor against projectiles of up to 7.62mm.

Unplugged Performance warns that, depending on the jurisdiction, the two major updated versions of the STING may not be permitted on public roads due to strict safety and firearms regulations.

While there is no specific information on pricing, the two companies say that versions of the STING will be sold to both government agencies and civilians. This opens up a new potential market for the Tesla Cybertruck, as it is not just a regular electric pickup truck, but also a military and personal security vehicle.
