A new leak suggests that AMD will have an alleged presentation to showcase its new products, with the Ryzen AI 300 PRO processors, EPYC “Turin” (5th Generation) and the Instinct MI325X GPUs for artificial intelligence being introduced to the market on October 10, 2024.
Leaker “Hoang Anh Phu” also revealed that the Strix Halo APUs and the “Krackan Point” line should only be highlighted during CES 2025. The proposal would be to first show what the server market has to offer at the end of this year, and then reveal the next generation of products that will reach the home consumer.
AMD Ryzen AI 300 PRO processors have already been spotted in some tests, with improved chips that retain the similar configuration seen in the “Strix” versions. The 5th Generation EPYC CPU will have two variants: one with 128 Zen5 (4nm) cores and one with 192 Zen5c (3nm) cores – compatible with existing SoCs.
The Instinct MI325X accelerator will be an updated version of the MI300X, with the promise of reaching 288GB of HBM3E VRAM and up to 6 TB/s of bandwidth. Its computational capacity will be FP16/FP8 and it will allow up to two AI models per server (even models with 1 trillion parameters).

If AMD already has all this prepared for 2024, in 2025 they should come up with even more products. The Strix Halo APUs can bring up to 16 CPU cores, 40 GPU cores and a chiplet design – while the Krackan Point can target mainstream platforms with a monolithic design, but with limited capacity of 8 CPU and GPU cores.
It is worth noting that, even with so many projects being worked on, nothing has been confirmed by the corporation and its plans may be changed or postponed suddenly.
Furthermore, the leak does not provide information about the next Radeon GPUs – supposedly expected to be presented to the public also at CES 2025. AMD’s goal is to bring options to the public in its dispute against NVIDIA, whose GeForce RTX 50 graphics cards may arrive early next year.
