With the launch of the new AMD Ryzen 9000 processors in July, the manufacturer is defining that the next high-end “X3D” models will be even more surprising than the Ryzen 7 7800X3D – their current success and one of the top choices among gamers.
Although they have not announced an “X3D” version of the processors, the company has made it clear that it will bring them at a future time and that there are some differences that will make the upcoming versions seem even more interesting.

AMD’s senior technical marketing manager, Donny Waligorski, stated that the Ryzen 9000X3D is in their plans and that they will talk more about these CPUs when they are available to the public.
X3D products, we have a lot to say about them. The best part is that we are not just enjoying our achievements. We’re improving what we can do with X3D, it’s very exciting and I’m looking forward to talking to people about them.
Donna Waligorski
Waligorski also points out that AMD will not just make a few additions and that the public will receive “more of the same”, but that they are ensuring that real differences are included in the next hardware in the Ryzen 9000X3D line.
It’s not like we say, hey, we added X3D to the chip. We’re actively working on some really cool differences to make them even better. We are working on X3D, we are improving it

AMD’s Ryzen 9000 processors
It’s too early to discuss AMD’s Ryzen 9000 “X3D” CPUs, taking into account that the first common-line processors will be launched in July. It is possible that the chips will be presented closer to the end of the year or even within their conference at CES 2025 – which will take place in January of next year.
Even though we cannot speculate, it is notable that the manufacturer will try to bring different sizes of 3D V-Cache to different products. The company also carried out some tests trying to apply two X3D chiplets to a single processor – however, they stopped because it did not provide a more adequate cost-benefit than what we already have available on the market.
