AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9975WX and 9965WX “Shimada Peak” appear in leak

The new generation of Threadripper, based on AMD Zen 5, has not yet had an official announcement, but began to appear in leaks since August 2024. After some advanced models in the series appearing on the internet, now we have intermediate options of the so -called “Shimada Peak” appearing with their trade names: Os Ryzen Threadripper 9975WX and 9965WX.

The leak comes from a transportation document, as has become usual for AMD’s new high performance processors. Ryzen Threadripper 9975WX has been mentioned before without that name, when it was listed along with the 64 -nuclei option for the series.

Now it reappears accompanied by the alleged Ryzen Threadripper 9965WX, which will have 24 nuclei, according to the documents of the transport manifesto. Both processors, like everyone else in the “Shimada Peak” series, must have 350W TDP.

They follow the same logic as the previous generation, so it may be that some sites or “leaks” already called the CPUS like that, but this is the first document with the name listed in this way.

Is ThreadRipper 9000wx family complete?

The 24 -core model leakage takes to 5 the total number of models listed for new threadripper. If AMD follows the same pattern as the last processors, we will still have another CPU in the “Shimada Peak” series that has not leaked with 12 cores.
