AMD Ryzen AI 300: iGPU RDNA 3.5 supera RTX 2050 em benchmark [RUMOR]

We still don’t know the potential of the integrated graphics present in the recently announced Ryzen AI 300. According to an insider, these RDNA 3.5 iGPUs can reach the average performance of a GeForce RTX 2050 in the 3DMark Time Spy benchmark. Unfortunately the information is not complete and we do not know the operating TDP of this SKU.

Golden Pig, a well-known leaker, said that, according to MSI’s stand at Computex 2024, the iGPU present in the Ryzen AI 300 would achieve more than 3,600 points in graphics in Time Spy, something that surpasses the average performance of just under that value of the RTX 2050 , a mobile chip.

The value would even place the RDNA 3.5 iGPU alongside the Intel Arc A370M, which belongs to the entry-level series, but is not the weakest graphics chip in the lineup. This result from the AMD chip would also place it alongside the GeForce MX 570.

In addition to not knowing the operating TDP of the chip in question, which is very important information that can easily change things, we also don’t know which SKU we are talking about.

Ryzen AI 300 tem Radeon 890M e 880M

The Ryzen AI 300’s RDNA 3.5 integrated graphics are the Radeon 880M and 890M with 12 and 16 computing units, respectively. Furthermore, there is the fact that notebooks equipped with AMD’s new mobile processors used engineering samples and not the final version at the event, an indication that final performance may change.

When AMD announced its new generation of mobile processors, it said that its products are, on average, 36% superior to Intel Core Ultra 100, which are equipped with Arc graphics.

Moving on from graphics performance, the leaker also states that the Ryzen 300 AI delivers around 20% more than the previous generation in single and multi-core processing, in addition to graphics.

AMD revealed only two SKUs from this series initially. The Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 is the top of the line and offers 12 Zen 5 cores (24 threads) operating between 2.0 GHz and 5.1 GHz and iGPU Radeon 890 with 16 computational units.

Below it is the Ryzen AI 9 365 with 10 cores and 20 threads, also Zen 5, operating with 100 MHz less boost and Radeon 880M with 12 computational units. Both iGPUs will be clocked at 2.9 GHz.

There is still no release date for the Ryzen AI 300, so we will have to wait longer to find out the real performance of the RDNA 3.5 integrated graphics.
