AMD may not have revealed when the Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs will hit the market, but there are signs that their launch may not be that far away. On ASUS’ website for the X870 and X870E motherboards, we can see that the gaming-focused processors are mentioned in a hidden way – both in the URL and in the page code.
As noted by social media leaker “@momomo_us,” the website’s URL clearly mentions the “9000-X3D” in its link. Additionally, Videocardz also points out that in the page’s meta data, it can be seen that 3D stacked CPUs are mentioned.
When inspecting ASUS’s page, the AMD Ryzen 9000X3D processors appear as an option compatible with the X870 and X870E motherboards. Check out the excerpt below:

Considering that several rumors indicate that the “800” motherboards may arrive together with the AMD Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs or in a short space of time, this may indicate that the manufacturers are working at full steam to bring the gaming version.

Taking into account that processors ranging from the Ryzen 5 9600X to the Ryzen 9 9950X do not bring a big leap in performance compared to the Ryzen 7000 CPUs, many are waiting for the announcement and specifications of the AMD Ryzen 9000X3D to enter this new generation with their PCs.
The manufacturer itself had already spoken out about the production of new X3D chips with 3D V-Cache in recent months – stating that they were “actively working on very interesting differences” so that the new versions would be “even better”.
Considering that ASUS and AMD did not take advantage of their presence at gamescom 2024 to disclose more details about the Ryzen 9000X3D CPUs or show anything related to what they were working on in relation to the next processors, all that remains is to wait for new information within their future announcements – which should not take long.
