The Ryzen 9 9950X3D2, possible AMD’s first processor with dual 3D V-Cache, finally appeared in benchmark test leaks, revealing possible details for the CPU. Among the information, we have one of the most awaited: its memory capacity, which would be a total of 192MB in the L3 cache.
After a long time without news, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 was listed in two different benchmark tests. Starting with Geekbench, the processor appears with 16 cores and 32 threads, which is no surprise, as it is expected to be a new version of the already available 9950X3D.

It is on Geekbench that its 192MB L3 cache capacity (2×32 + 2×64) also appears. The processor is listed as clocking at 4.3GHz and boosting up to 5.622GHz, which are different numbers than the standard 9950X3D.
In Passmark, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 was listed with the same 5.7GHz boost clock as the current top of the line AMD. In the test, however, it appears with 170W, while previous leaks say it will need a TDP of 200W.

Revelation at CES 2026 becomes more likely
The Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 was first leaked in October, alongside the Ryzen 7 9850X3D. Shortly afterwards, we received information that the two new processors will probably be officially presented by AMD at CES 2026.
Since then, however, the Ryzen 7 9850X3D has been mentioned in several other leaks, and was even listed on AMD’s official website. Meanwhile, we have had no news about the 9950X3D2.

The appearance in benchmark tests now could be an indication that AMD is already sending the component to its OEM partners, or even to review sites.
In other words, a reveal of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 together with the 9850X3D in a few weeks becomes much more plausible.
