AMD Ryzen 9 9950x3D appears 14% faster than its predecessor in Passmark

With a few days left for the official launch of AMD’s new Ryzen 9000x3D, the Ryzen 9 9950x3D, its next line top, appeared in an alleged Passmark testing leakage. Single Thread for the Processor results show 14% more performance compared to its predecessor, and a technical draw with the productless version V-Cache of the product.

The Ryzen 9 9950x3d won 4,739 points in single thread, surpassing the 4,151 Ryzen 7950x3D. Showing that CPU’s extra cache doesn’t make much difference in this test, the Ryzen 9 9950x appears in the table below with 4,743, until a little in front of the new release. The Intel Core Ultra 9 285k, in the meantime, surpasses them all, with 5,078 points.

In the CPU overall test Mark, however, the Ryzen 9 9950x3d establishes its leadership with 69,702 points. It is considerably more than its predecessor, and enough to stay in front of version 9950x without 3D V-Cache and also in front of Intel’s rival.

Thus, we can see that CPU Mark is a test that takes advantage of the extra amount of X3D products, its main attraction. However, this scenario will not be reflected in any and all app, so it will be interesting to see results of the 9950x3D in a practical use.

Ryzen 9 9950x3d arrives on the 12th, for $ 699

After confirming the price and release date for its new Ryzen 9000X3D processors, there was no much information left for AMD to reveal about the products. Thus, at the moment the greatest curiosity left is the availability of the CPUS.

The Ryzen 7 9800x3D was a great success, which can make the processor difficult to find. Being even more niche products, the new X3D should not appear in large quantities in all markets.
