This week AMD released the latest WHQL update for its driver, Radeon Software Adrenalin 24.12.1. The update brings optimized support for a total of six games with more recent releases, which includes, for example, Marvel Rivals. Check out the complete list of games optimized by the new driver version below:
- Marvel Rivals
- Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
- Dragon Age: The Veilguard
- Slitterhead
- Delta Force
- STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl

In addition to recent releases being optimized, the driver also brings expanded support for HYPR-Tune for more games. AMD highlights three titles, which now automatically configure FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) with frame generation:
- Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
- MechWarrior 5: Clans
- Red Dead Redemption 2
Problems fixed by the update
As always, it is not only in optimizing new games that graphics driver updates are important. In fact, fixing bugs is often more useful for most users. Radeon Software Adrenalin 24.12.1 fixes the following issues in games:
- Texture corruption that could appear in The Crew Motorfest
- Intermittent freezing when loading a save in Monster Hunter: World
- Intermittent crashes could happen on Radeon RX 5000 or newer cards running Fortnite
In the meantime, there are known bugs and issues that are not yet fixed by the update:
- Driver timeout or crash may be observed in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 running on AMD Graphics
- Intermittent stutter may appear in Marvel Rivals using FSR 3 with frame generation

Indiana Jones is left out of AMD’s new driver
It is noteworthy that AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin 24.12.1 arrives in the same week that NVIDIA’s 566.36 driver was also made available. Both optimize Marvel Rivals on PC, but the green side of the force driver also brings Game Ready to Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
