The new generation of AMD graphics cards based on RDNA 4 will go on pre-sale on January 23rd. This is what the current leak indicates, in which the Radeon RX 9070 XT and Radeon RX 9070 appeared listed ahead of time in the B&H online store. At the time of this post, the signs still appear in the page’s search results.
The models listed are the four cards already revealed from ASUS. Prime series variants appear for both the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070, and the same thing in the TUF Gaming line. The site, however, did not post any images of the cards, nor those already offered by ASUS.
The products appear with a “notify when available” button, with a date of January 23rd to start pre-sales. Therefore, no information is mentioned about the prices of GPUs. However, if the pre-sale date is correct, these values will be revealed on the day or even a little earlier.
The price and release date are not the only information that AMD has not yet officially released about its new Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070. Despite having already made the official announcement of the products, the company chose not to go into much detail about them still.
We at least have information that they will have 16GB of capacity, which appeared in ASUS’s own announcement of the cards that now appear for sale.
Radeon RX 9070 XT and Radeon RX 9070 still arriving in January?
With pre-orders for the new generation of AMD graphics cards starting on January 23rd, we can imagine that the Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 will ship to buyers at least a week later. This puts its official debut on January 30th or early February.

An arrival on the 30th would be curious because it would coincide with the debut of the RTX 5090 and 5080. AMD has no plans to compete in this performance segment with its RDNA 4, so perhaps it will make the RX 9070 XT available and not XT as the intermediate options purposely on the same day as the rival.
The RTX 5070 and 5070 Ti, meanwhile, are scheduled for February, without a specific date yet.
