AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT has 2,048 cores and boost clock up to 3.2GHz, says rumor

With a few days left for the launch of RTX 5060 TI, the rumors and leaks of these GPUS are constant. Now, however, we finally have news about the Radeon RX 9060 XT, the AMD models that will compete in the video card’s input segment of this generation.

According to Videocardz sources, the RX 9060 XT will be launched with 2,048 Stream processors (nuclei), which corroborates previous leaks that the plate should come with a GPU based on NAVI 44.

Information about the possible Clocks of the RX 9060 XT draws more attention. According to the leakage of the time, the plate will offer 2,620mHz standard clock – also known as Game Clock – and up to 3,230mHz of Boost. Videocardz has information including what customized models could reach 3.3GHz in Boost.

It is interesting to remember that the RX 7600 XT, anterior generation of the plate, featured 2,470mHz clock, with Boost reaching 2,755mHz. These are expressive gains of clock if the information is correct.

Thus, rumors also say that the Radeon RX 9060 XT requires sources of at least 500W, with some cases reaching 550W. Even so, there are no leaks on GPU models with 16 -pin connectors, only 8.

When will AMD officially talk about Radeon RX 9060 XT?

It is noteworthy that the information here is rumors and leaks. AMD has not officially talked about its plates models that will aim to compete with the RTX 5060 TI.

The expectation is currently that the company will wait for Computex 2025, which starts on May 19th. Videocardz, however, raises the possibility of appearing some official introduction to the RX 9060 XT even before.

Like their competitors, the 9060 XT RX will have two capacity options, one with 8GB and one with 16GB. However, the plates use GDDR6 technology, while the rival already operates with GDDR7, offering a larger memory band even with the same bus.
