AMD RX 9060 XT 16GB emerges as a strong competitor of NVIDIA RTX 5060 TI 16GB. The information was published by the Eteknix channel, but soon the video was deleted as a result of the embargo. Fortunately, a Reddit user saved some catches.
In leaked benchmarks, considering an average of 10 games in 1080p, a RX 9060 XT atinge 187 FPSbeing 3% behind RTX 5060 Ti, which marks 194 fps. Interestingly, it is equal to the RX 7700 XT (186 fps) and surpasses its predecessor, the RX 7600 XT 16GB, in 35%.
Already in 1440p, the RX 9060 XT drops to 134 fps, being 5% behind RTX 5060 TI (142 FPS) and 3% below RX 7700 XT (139 FPS), but maintaining 35% advantage over the RX 7600 XT.
Considering the games tested, in Cyberpunk 2077 and Alan Wake II, the RX 9060 TI scored above RTX 5060. In A Plague Tale: Requiem, the AMD plate also scored above NVIDIA, but by a smaller margin.
And the situation was reversed in the tests performed with Black Myth: Wukong and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

Price and Efficiency
The true comparison, however, begins when considering the price. On paper, the RX 9060 XT is 20% cheaper, which is worth the cost considering that it sacrifices only about 5% of performance. Despite AMD advances with FSR 4, Nvidia still leads with technologies such as Cuda, Multi Frame Generation and Smooth Motion.
