AMD officialized during the Computex 2025 Its new line of plates aimed at work stations with applications in artificial intelligence, content creators and technical areas. The star of the ad was the Radeon AI PRO R9700Equipped with 32 GB of GDDR6 memory and RDNA 4 architecture, which becomes part of the newly created Radeon Ai Pro family.
Designed for local inference applications, models adjustment and complex rendered, the new board marks the GPU debut Navi 48 com 64 Computer Units e SUPORTE AND PCIe 5.0.
It also incorporates AMD’s second generation of AI accelerators, with promises of performance up to twice as much as the previous generation.

With support for multi-GPU systems, the R9700 expands memory and processing power in parallel scenarios, such as simulations and simultaneous inferences
Focus on AI and local performance
Radeon Ai Pro R9700’s proposal is not focused on games, but to intensive workflows, especially in corporate and research environments.

Its set of embedded accelerators is optimized to run IA models directly on the device, without depending on cloud resources – A growing demand in areas that require privacy, lower latency and greater control over data.

In addition, the total support to the software ROCm no Linux (With supporting Windows under development) enlarge the flexibility for developers and data scientists who already work in AMD environments.
