AMD must have “aggressive” prices on RX 9000 to compete with Nvidia

As the RDNA 4 -end GPUS release date is approaching, specifically the RX 9070 XT and RX 9070, some reports suggest that AMD finally decided the prices of these plates. And the information says prices should be aggressive to compete with rival Nvidia.

Since the revelation at CES, the company has remained silent on the RX 9000, without revealing the possible prices of its RDNA GPUS 4. Feeling the pressure with the competitor’s news, which launched the new Blackwell series during CES, AMD can have decided to attack with medium and high performance offers.

The information is not yet official. However, as reported by IT Home, a leak indicated that AMD would be “aggressive” in the pricing of the Radeon RX 9070 GPUS to challenge Nvidia. So much so that this can affect sales of Radeon RX 7800 XT itself.

According to the report, AMD should interrupt the production and supply of the RX 7800 XT by the third quarter of 2025, but has already issued a warning to stop production in January. It is noteworthy that the launch of RX 9070 is scheduled for March.

The company’s goal would be to ensure that GPUS RX 9070 can remain in focus. And the report suggests that the series RX 9070 can be priced around $ 500 to $ 600, as the RX 7800 XT was launched for $ 500.

As AMD has confirmed that its 70 class GPUS will compete with Nvidia’s class 70 GPUS, it is reasonable to say that one of the RX 9070 GPUS can be priced between $ 500 and $ 600.

Currently, the GPU RDNA 4 faster is the Radeon RX 9070 XT, part of the full line Radeon RX 9000presenting the Die Navi 48. AMD must possibly precet it around $ 600, while the RX 9070 can be released for $ 500.
