AMD GPU Prices May Rise in January, with NVIDIA Following in February

The dizzying increase in prices for all types of memory components has resulted in the inflation of several electronic products that, to date, we have not seen have the same impact on GPUs. According to the Board Channels forum, however, this should change at the beginning of 2026, more precisely in January for AMD and February for NVIDIA.

The relative stability that video cards had in prices throughout the last quarter of 2025 is due to the way that contracts with AIBs work, explains VideoCardz. AIBs are third-party companies like ASUS, Gigabyte and Zotac, which use AMD and NVIDIA chips to make the GPUs we find on the shelves.

Agreements already signed to guarantee supplies held down prices for video cards specifically throughout 2025, but the cycle will change at the beginning of 2026. Therefore, a post on Board Channels makes the following prediction:

“AMD GPUs for AIB brands may see price increases earlier, starting in January, followed by multiple increases over the next few months. NVIDIA GPUs for AIB brands should begin increases in February.”

Rumors talk about AMD and NVIDIA, but what about Intel?
