AMD has confirmed its “Gaming Show” presentation during gamescom 2024, bringing several influencers to entertain the public for a period of 8 hours and show the news about games that support them and also the experience with their hardware.
According to the schedule of activities, they will take their products to the stage, as well as those of some commercial partners – such as Western Digital and ASUS, which will hold the so-called “ROG Show” within the presentation.
With AMD confirming the “Gaming Show” event, it’s also important to note that there may not be any new product announcements during gamescom 2024. Their Ryzen 9000 and Ryzen AI 300 CPUs have only just hit the market, with next-generation Radeon GPUs expected only for CES 2025.
That doesn’t mean there won’t be any new features, but don’t watch with your expectations too high. In “AMD Highlights,” for example, they should talk about their latest big products and discuss with the audience how they perform in games.
It is also important to remember that, even with the Ryzen AI 300 generation hitting the market, it has not been announced whether AMD will produce a customized version for laptops – such as the Z1 and Z1 Extreme – which would be a well-positioned announcement to occur during its Gaming Show at gamescom 2024.

Although ASUS will be part of AMD’s “Gaming Show” during gamescom 2024, it is worth noting that this will not be its main moment within the event. The manufacturer already has its own presentation scheduled for tomorrow (20), called the ROG Press Event.
Just like its ROG Ally X, the announcement and demonstration of new products aimed at the gaming industry such as the Radeon RX 7000 TUF Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 GPU is expected during its activities. There may be surprises, so stay tuned for more information to emerge here at Adrenaline.
