Partner motherboard manufacturers AMD have already begun implementing support for the company’s future new generation of CPUs equipped with 3D V-Cache on your current AM5 boards. Therefore, new processors Ryzen 9000X3D, which will hit the market on November 7th, can be used on previously launched AM5 motherboards.
One of the manufacturers that is already making the new firmware available is ASRock. With the AGESA version 1.2.0.2a, Optimization for future Ryzen X3D chips is described. Check out the image below:
Ryzen 9000X3D
Based on the Zen 5 architecture, AMD’s new processors with 3D V-Cache will consist of models with 8, 12 and 16 cores. The “open-wing” model of the line Ryzen 9000 must be the Ryzen 9800X3D.
The base operating frequency is 4.7 GHz, there is 96 MB of L3 cache and the TDP is 120W. According to AMD’s own test results, this model will provide 8% better gaming performance compared to the Ryzen 7 7800X3D.
