AMD has launched the latest version of Adrenalin Edition 25.3.1 Whql, adding support to the new Radeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT graphics boards, as well as Radeon RX 7650 GRE. Both RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT launch today.
The update also adds support for AMD Ryzen Ai Max+ 395, Ai 5 (Pro) 340 and Ai 7 (Pro) 350 with GPUS AMD Radeon 840m and 860m, and AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX, 9850HX and Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, all with AMD Radeon charts.

The new AMD AMD Driver Adrenalin Edition 25.3.1 Whql also adds support for the FSR 4 which is exclusive to AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics boards, and New AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2.1.
There are several others Exclusive features of the Radeon RX 9070 seriesall part of AMD’s AI -enhanced features, including AMD Chat, AMD Image Inspector, Amd Install Manager and AMD Radeon Image Shapening 2.

AMD has also corrected some problems, including intermittent driver or Crash timeout in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and lower than expected force force in the Radeon RX 7000 series.
The new driver adds AMD Rocm Support in WSL for the AMD Radeon RX 7000 series, including official Llama3 8B support and Stable Diffusion 3 models. There is also support for Hugging Face transformers and Ubuntu 24.04 support.
The update also brings AI performance improvements in the AMD Radeon RX 7000 series with up to 70% improvement in the improved AI AI detail of Adobe Lightroom.
For developers, there are updates with new specifications of AMD -readable GPU instruction set architectures. They were updated to support AMD RDNA 4 and RDNA 3.5 architectures.
AMD has also updated HyPR-RX by adding support to Hypr-Tune, which allows HyPR-RX to enable In-Game Technologies such as AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution and AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2. It has also been updated to enable AMD FSR with Table Generation at Farming Simulator 25, Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl and Silent Hill 2.
Known problems
Some problems remain and AMD is working on the solution. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 or Ratchet & Clank players: Rift Apart with AMD Image Inspector enabled may experience locking. Per hour, The recommendation is to disable AMD Image Inspector.
Indiana Jones players and the big circle are experiencing intermittent locking when settings are defined for “Very Ultra” quality and Path tracing is enabled. To solve the problem temporarily, the recommended solution is to use the standard Ray Tracing settings.
At Microsoft Edge, some users are experiencing lower than expected to use YouTube. The temporary solution is to restart the browser.
In certain laptops, some users may experience intermittent failures for the integrated camera. Those who go through this problem are recommended to use AMD Cleanup Utility for Windows and use the previous recommended driver available here.
