AMD has launched a new driver to prepare its integrated video cards and graphics to receive some of the main games of the month. Adrenalin 25.5.1 WHQL is the stable version of the company’s software that comes with doom optimizations: The Dark AGES and F1 25.
These are two very different games, which are still a few days from their premieres. Doom: The Dark Ages arrives on the 15th, while F1 25 will be released only on May 30th. Players who buy the Iconic edition of the race game can start playing three days earlier, but it’s still plenty of time to update the driver.

It also draws attention in this Update Support for Radeon RX 9070 GRE, which had its official release in China last week.
FSR 4 reaches seven new games
Taking advantage of the driver update, AMD also highlights support for FSR 4 reaching seven new titles. The latest version of the company’s super resolution technology is now available at:
- Ghost of Tsushima
- Frost punk 2
- Everpace 2
- Fort Solis
- Warhammer 40,000: Darktide
- The Finals
- Influx redux
In addition, Hypr-Tune support, part of the hypr-rx, goes to:
- Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Marvel Rivals
- Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced
- Kingdom Come Deliverance II
- Path of Exile 2
Known corrections and bugs in new AMD driver
As with almost every driver update, Adrenalin 25.5.1 Whql corrects some bugs, while other known problems continue. Among the corrections stand out, for example, a bug that prevented the integrated camera from being detected after formatting notebooks with Ryzen Ai Max and Ryzen Ai Max+.
Other important corrections happened in Metro Exodus Enhanced and Civilization VII. The two games could suffer driver timeout or even crashes during the gambling.

Meanwhile, however, Driver Timeout and possible crashes remain a problem with The Last of Us 2, as this AMD update has not yet correctly corrects this bug. Similar situation can happen in Cyberpunk 2077.
