AMD has released a new Adrenalin 24.8.1 WHQL driver, focused on optimizing the latest major PC releases – including Black Myth: Wukong, which is now available to gamers around the world.
In addition to the expected Game Science game, the manufacturer also brings optimizations for other experiences, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Open Beta; Concord and the next release from Ubisoft – Star Wars Outlaws.
AMD driver 24.8.1 also extends HYPR-Tune support to some previously released games, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut also receives support for the Anti-Lag 2 feature.
The manufacturer also uses the opportunity to fix some bugs seen in other games, such as the intermittent crash problem in Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Pacific Drive and Kingdom Hearts -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX.

Extended HYPR-Tune support
HYPR-Tune support allows HYPR-RX to enable in-game technologies such as AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR). The added support now automatically configures the FSR 3 frame generation in the following games:
- Call of Duty : Modern Warfare III;
- Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered;
- Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales;

Fixed issues and improvements
- An intermittent application crash issue may occur in Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess on some Radeon RX 6600 and 6700 GPUs;
- Intermittent crash or DTO issue may occur when starting Pacific Drive or KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-;
- The Anti-Aliasing and Anisotropic filter settings in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition could fail when enabled in OpenGL applications;
- Artifacts could appear while playing certain titles, such as Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales or Rust;
- Excessive memory usage could be observed while playing some versions of Minecraft Java Edition;
- Improved the “Optimizing Shaders” timing when starting the Forza Motorsport game
Known issues
- Audio and video may intermittently go out of sync while recording using the AV1 codec in AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition. [Solução planejada para 2 de setembro de 2024]
