A leak from an unexpected source may have revealed the prices for the entire Ryzen 9000 lineup for its launch. Prices range up to $499 for the Ryzen 9 9950X, showing a decrease in the suggested price for each version of the previous generation. As always in these cases, it is good to maintain a healthy dose of skepticism, since this is not official information.
The numbers surfaced on the AnandTech forum. A user who goes by the handle Hail The Brain Slug posted a screenshot of what he allegedly said was a conversation with a Best Buy employee he was friends with. It’s the kind of image that can easily be faked in different ways, but if the prices are real, a lot of people will be happy.
To make it easier to visualize, the folks at WCCFTech have organized the supposed Ryzen 9000 values ​​into a list, accompanied by the prices of the last-generation models:
- Ryzen 9 9950X: US$ 499 (R$ 2.763) | 7950X custa US$ 699
- Ryzen 9 9900X: US$ 399 (R$ 2.209) | 7900X custa US$ 549
- Ryzen 7 9700X: US$ 299 (R$ 1.655) | 7700X custa US$ 399

In addition to talking about the prices for the Ryzen 9000, the conversation also mentions their availability. Thus, the alleged Best Buy employee says that July 31st has not been confirmed for them to start sales. Not only that, he also mentions that they have plenty of stock of the 9700X and 9900, but not many of the 9600X and 9950X.
This isn’t the first Ryzen 9000 pricing leak
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of alleged pricing for Ryzen 9000 series CPUs. Recently, Amazon Canada updated its page early with a Ryzen 5 9600X. The price listed was CAD$475.
Regarding the leaked prices in this post, the price that appeared on Amazon would make the 9600X more expensive than the 9700X. So the numbers listed here seem much more interesting.
