Adata will enter the professional SSDs segment to enjoy Hype of AI

Adata will expand its area and start selling SSDs for professional use soon. The company itself admits that Hype with AI – and the investment resulting from it – is one of the main factors that motivated its decision. To make their SSDs for data centers and servers, the company has signed a partnership with Fadu from South Korea.

“According to Trendforce, the global AI server market is designed to reach $ 298 billion by 2025, while the data storage volume for IT companies can exceed 8.4 Zettabytes,” the company says in its disclosure. “Adata SSDs focused on companies are created to specifically meet the intense needs of Ia, Machine learning, and real -time data analysis (…)”.

FADU specializes in creating SSD controllers, and Adata hopes to take advantage of the partnership to produce high efficiency and low consumption drives. “Making use of FADU’s technological synergy and other partners, Adata will offer companies more faster, reliable and efficient storage solutions,” he says. However, we do not yet have practical examples of these products.

Adata will present your professional SSDs on Computex 2025

It would be interesting if Adata could offer an example of the products it intends to sell with its expansion to a new segment. However, the company decided to wait for Computex 2025.

The gigantic technology event that takes place annually in Taipei, Taiwan, will start on May 19 this year. It is at some point from this date that Adata intends to show its first SSDs to servers and data centers.

The company has only stated that it already prepares drives in various formats, including U.2, E1.S, E3.S and even the traditional SATA as well. It was not evident, however, if all of them or just a few will be shown at the technology fair.
