The manufacturers NEEDLE e XPG, who are part of the same group, are present at Computex 2024 with a very varied stand. The companies brought a series of versatile and curious products to the fair, which is the largest electronics fair in Asia and one of the most important hardware fairs in the world.
O Adrenaline was in Taiwan, where the event traditionally takes place, to see these new developments up close. The devices and peripherals range from cabinets and sources ready for sale, including models that will be launched in Brazil, to prototypes that should gain more details in the near future.
The varied ADATA and XPG stand at Computex 2024
The tour includes visits to offices such as the Invader X Pro, a premium product with curved glass and sides, which allows you to see the entire interior of the PC and its components. As an alternative, the brand also offers the Invader X BTF — which should be one of the focuses of the national market in the coming months. It exists in two versions, one of which is much more compact.
Another highlight of the duo is the external SSDs. These devices are still expensive and little varied, but they are gradually gaining market share in an attempt to replace the external HD once and for all. Aside from speed, the special reason is durability and resistance against possible impacts.
The stand models are the SE880 e SD810. Connected via USB-C to various electronics, they have high transfer rates (2 GB/s reading and writing), with up to 4 TB of internal storage space and a very compact appearance.
ADATA and XPG also brought power supplies and coolers to the stand, as well as some prototypes. In this regard, one of the surprises was the XPG NIA, a gaming laptop along the lines of the Steam Deck and ROG Ally.
With large dimensions, it is still in the development phase and will try to be a balanced alternative in this already populated sector. Additionally, it comes with CAMM2 memory, which means it can be upgraded.
