Acer reveals RTX 5050 clocks and tgps on their notebooks

Nvidia has not yet made the official announcement of RTX 5050 for notebooks, but this has not prevented its partners from listing signs in its official disclosures from time to time. This time Acer went further and even revealed clock and TGP settings that the GPU will have in some of its notebooks.

The information is on the Acer website, so they can be considered official. We have at least five different settings for RTX 5050, installed on Nitro line notebooks from the manufacturer. They also appear in the list with versions using the RTX 5060, 5070 and 5070 Ti.

• 50W (Boost up to 60W): 1,500mHz clock | OC up to 1,600mhz
• 60W (Boost up to 75W): 1.905MHz Clock | OC keeps 1,905mhz
• 70W (Boost up to 85W): 2,212MHz clock | OC up to 2,313MHz
• 80W (Boost up to 95W): 2,212MHz Clock | OC up to 2,312mhz
• 100W (Boost up to 115W): 2,550mHz clock | OC up to 2,650mhz

RTX 5050 for notebooks looks close to release

With the number of leaks that have appeared in official channels for the RTX 5050 notebooks, we can estimate that an effective release should not be distant. Importantly, we are only talking about the mobile model, as rumors are very rare about a possible desktop version for the GPU.

While Acer offered some more technical details about the plate, we do not have the confirmation of its memory, which has been a great point of curiosity for those who follow the news. In previous rumors, it was mentioned that we will see 8GB GDDR7, just as it appears on RTX 5060. Thus, the main difference between them would only be in nuclei count.

We are also waiting for price information with higher credibility, but Lenovo’s notebooks came to appear with RTX 5050 on a store listings in Europe.
