A Eurasian regulatory filing by Acer reveals new SKUs from the AMD Radeon RX 7000 series of GPUs. There are 12 SKUs from the Predator and Nitro series involving the RX 7700, RX 7800 and RX 7900 without XT. Each of them also has an overclocked model.

In this type of situation, it’s easy to say that it could be a typo, but in this case, the document itself includes XT SKUs of existing GPUs, and non-XT ones as well. This indicates that the RDNA 3-based graphics card lineup could gain new members.

So far, all three series have XT models, in addition to the Radeon RX 7900, which also has the GRE model and the top-of-the-line XTX. We saw something similar with the entry-level RDNA 3 GPU, the RX 7600, which later gained an XT version with slight changes, highlighting double the memory.

These SKUs, apparently, shouldn’t be the only new ones to integrate the Radeon RX 7000. If we consider a recent leak from Seasonic, a power supply manufacturer, there should be another five models never mentioned before.

Possible future lineup of AMD Radeon RX 7000 GPUs

There would be three models involving the top-of-the-line GPU, the Radeon RX 7700 now mentioned by Acer, in addition to an entry-level GPU, the RX 7500 XT. If we consider these two leaks, the AMD RDNA 3 graphics card lineup would look like this:

Considering a recent rumor saying that AMD may only reveal the Radeon RX 8000 in January 2025 during CES, it’s possible to imagine that the company led by Lisa Su may want to increase the current lineup of graphics cards, especially considering that the first GPUs in the series arrived in 2022.

Another factor that corroborates this possibility of an increase in the Radeon RX 7000 series is the fact that AMD launched new RDNA 2 SKUs with the Radeon RX 6000 a long time after the arrival of the first models.

The same thing has already happened on NVIDIA’s side with the GeForce RTX 40 series with the launch of the SUPER versions of the RTX 4070 and 4080 series, so the possibility of AMD increasing the offering with new Radeon RX 7000 SKUs would not be anything new considering everything that was presented here. We’ll just have to wait and see.
