Acer announces Nitro Blaze 11 laptop with 10.95-inch 120 Hz display

Taking advantage of the start of CES 2025, Acer officially announced the launch of the Nitro Blaze 11, a device that challenges the notions of what can be considered a laptop. This is because the highlight of the model is its 10.95-inch WQXGA touchscreen (2560 x 1600 pixels)which works with a refresh rate that reaches 120 Hz and brings a maximum brightness of 500 nits.

According to the manufacturer, the new model is based on the AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS APU, equipped with the Radeon 780M GPU. Her promise is that this will allow you to run Triple A games with smooth performance, with the help of technologies such as Radeon Super Resolution (RSR) and FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) to increase frame rates.

Featuring 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 2 TB of NVMe SSD storage, the Nitro Blaze 11 also draws attention for featuring removable controls. This way, players will be able to use the laptop’s integrated support to leave it on a surface while they play more comfortably.

Acer also announced that the Nitro Blaze 11 will feature USB4, Type-C, USB 3.2, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. With this, she guarantees that players “will always be connected, whether for high-speed data transfer, peripherals or smooth online experiences”, in his words.

Using Windows 11 Home as the operating system, the new laptop will offer three months of PC Game Pass subscription to its buyers. All this comes at a high cost: according to the manufacturer, the most basic version of your new device will sell for US$1099.99or almost R$6730 in a direct conversion.

The value may increase even further depending on users’ choices, especially with regard to the size of available storage. The Nitro Blaze 11 hits stores on an undisclosed date in the second quarter of 2025 and will be accompanied by the new Nitro Blaze 8, which costs US$899.99 (R$5,500).
