In 2024, the brand PlayStation celebrates 30 years, and to crown this symbolic mark, Sony confirmed this Thursday (19) a pack of products with a color pattern that refers to the PS1, a console that was launched in 1994.

O pack PlayStation 30th Anniversary Edition Collection includes retro-looking editions for the PS5 Slim, DualSense (normal e Edge), PlayStation Portal and also the latest product in the PlayStation line, the PS5 Proa version that comes with improved hardware compared to the base model.

In this special edition, the Japanese giant’s newest console option abandons the white faceplates, the PS5’s design standard, and adopts the gray tone that was immortalized with the PS1 Fat. According to Sony, 12,300 units of this vintage-themed PS5 Pro will be sold. In addition to the console and controller, the kit also includes a disc drive cover, vertical stand, poster, sticker, PlayStation paper clip, four PlayStation Shapes cable ties, and an original PlayStation-style cable connector case.

Price and availability

The standard version of the PS5 Pro will hit the market on November 7th for US$700, while this limited model, as well as the other products in the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Edition Collection pack, will be released on November 21st. The price has not been confirmed.
