Chinese Lisuan 7G100 video cards begin to reach buyers

The Chinese company Lisuan has attracted attention throughout the second half of the year due to the proximity of the launch of its 7G100 series of video cards, made with domestic technologies. Now apparently the GPUs are already being distributed to their buyers, marking commercial availability for the first cards of this type made in 6nm in China.

Lisuan’s G100 series of cards comprises the 7G106 for the PC and the 7G105 for professional use. The focus of the news that has crossed the world and appeared here has been on GPUs for home use, with the promise of performance comparable to the RTX 4060.

It may not be impressive in times of RTX 50, but for a first launch of its kind made with the TrueGPU architecture, designed and manufactured in China, analysts are optimistic about the future of the components.

The Lisuan 7G106 has 12GB of GDDR6 memory on a 192-bit bus, while the 7G105 takes the capacity to 24GB, also implementing common protection technologies for business use, such as ECC.

Something that could prove to be an interesting differentiator for the Chinese card is its possible support for Windows on ARM, discovered when GPU tests in 3DMark on the platform began to circulate on the internet.

As Microsoft invests in ARM-based notebooks through its partnership with Qualcomm, the operating system’s advancement in architecture could end up proving advantageous for Lisuan, which may be the first manufacturer to offer a domestic GPU optimized for this type of build.
