How much does a Panther Lake cost? Walmart reveals the price of a notebook with Intel Core Ultra 7 355

We’re a few weeks away from CES 2026, but leaks about the new generation of Panther Lake processors keep appearing. Now we even have one of the first prices for an HP notebook equipped with one of the new generation Intel Core Ultra Series 3 CPUs.

The new HP OmniBook X Flip appeared in a Walmart listing, costing US$999 (R$5,507). The product appears to be out of stock, but this may be due to the fact that it comes with an unofficial processor – the Intel Core Ultra 7 355.

Thanks to the almost constant leaks about the Panther Lake generation, we already have some unofficial details about the processor that should power the new HP notebook.

According to rumors, the Core Ultra 7 355 comes with 8 cores, in a configuration of 4 for performance and 4 LP, without efficiency cores. The clock goes up to 4.7GHz in boost and there are 4 Xe3 cores for integrated graphics. TDP numbers sit at 25W as standard and up to 55W maximum.

It’s difficult to get a good idea of ​​the price range for notebook processors like the Panther Lake series because the product’s final configurations greatly impact its value.

In the case of the HP Omnibook

The notebook also comes with Windows 11 already installed, which also impacts its final price. Finally, we must take into account the possibility that the price at Walmart is just a “placeholder” for the product registration, being changed upon its actual launch.
